Inside Wainaku Camp Cottage, you'll find two cozy bedrooms, featuring one double bed and one queen bed, along with a queen-sized sofa sleeper and a well-appointed bathroom. Enjoy modern conveniences such as TV, wifi, and off-street parking during your stay. After a day of island adventures, take advantage of the BBQ facilities for a delightful evening meal amidst the gentle sounds of nature.

The spacious outdoor area allows plenty of room for fun and relaxation. You’ll find an assortment of recreational equipment available, including a soccer ball, volleyball, badminton, and lawn games, perfect for when you want to unwind at the house. Please keep in mind that although the amenities provide comfort, Wainaku Camp Cottage is basic accommodations and not classified as a luxury rental.

To kickstart your vacation, we supply essential items like toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, and conditioner; however, it’s your responsibility to replenish these supplies as necessary. The cottage serves as the first or front house on the property, and features a generous space underneath where the washing machine is located. Hanging racks for air-drying clothing are also available—please note that there is no dryer on-site.

Guests will enjoy complimentary coffee during their stay, but breakfast is not provided. To maintain a fresh atmosphere, any signs of smoking inside the home will incur a $250 deep cleaning fee for removal of smoke residues. Additionally, a $100 cleaning fee applies for stays exceeding 21 days. Our trash pick-up occurs weekly, so if you accumulate more waste than can fit in the designated trash bin, kindly take it to the nearby transfer station—details can be found in the information binder within the home. A $25 fee will apply for any trash left outside the bin.

Summary: Such a cute place! The host was on it with replying back to me when I had questions before my trip and during! Really wish I got to meet them, literally a few minutes out from downtown Hilo just a beautiful spot, I seen someone write about chickens but I didn’t even hear one lol we did get to see some baby piggy’s, such an amazing experience holding I can stay here again next year MAHALO NUI TO THE HOST FOR OPENING UP THIS HALE FOR US
